Hi everyone,
Looking for advice here.
I have a rover 91 Mini Cooper.
I restored it and it is almost finished.
I bought the MS72 adjustable valve from minispare in order to replace the old FAM7821 (I had a rear brake lock up issue)
However it is impossible to fit it since the MS 72 thread does not fit the existing brake line connectors.
Fam7821 was ok with that but MS72 seems to have a different thread or diameter.
How to fit it?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Olivier

you get metric and imperial thread on pipe connectors, minis have both fitted. seem to remember rear being imperial front metric, had same issue with some flexy pipes have to change fittings

Buy some correct ends and replace or reflare the pipe to suit.Easy task if you have the gear and if you do not then???.This is the only way to safely do it.(of course there will be other ways with adaptors, joins etc)Steve..

Thank you both for your reply.
I don't think it is metric since I tested with a M10 and thread doesn't match.
Has anyone ever replaced the FAM7821 with MS72 on a '91 Mini Cooper (master cylinder directly connected to the servo)?
It should be straightforward but pipe ends connector don't fit : diameter is slightly different.
Is it a quality issue?
Does anyone have the specifications of the connection ends for FAM7821 and MS72 (thread , diameter)?
