I use IrfanView on Windows. It has a bulk resize feature (menu File > Batch conversion/rename) that works great. You'll need to go to the advanced options to make changes to the size of the pictures. Then I upload to imgur as mentioned by others. The advantage of using IrfanView or probably any other desktop app is that it removes potentially privacy sensitive information, like geolocation.

I swapped to imgur after Flickr sold out and started charging $50 a year

I just find imgur is really difficult to get the links on a phone. The app is fine for uploading, but getting the bbcode is a pain using a phone

 

I upload from my phone and open the gallery link on my laptop and then post. Not sure why we havn't solved this yet in 2022!

 

 

I did figure out a slightly annoying way using the phone this week:

Go to imgur on phone browser & request the desktop version

Open up: username.imgur.com/all/#1 (where your username replaces username)

There is a drop down box that says "view image info" - click on this and then "generate image links"

Tick the photos you want to share and then "done"

Then press link and then BBCode

I use the "huge thumbnail" size which is a good size for forums

 

You can also use the same link and method on the computer if you want to share multiple images at a time

It’s probably best to upload a video elsewhere like YouTube and then add the link
