No experience with the actual column but I did look into them a few months back and asked a few question below with their answers, might be of help;
Can it be fitted with the normal steering column with plastic cowling? Yes
Would the indicator auto off as the wheel is returned to center still work? Depends on the year. Fits 1985 to 1997 cars but can be used for earlier steering lock type cars by using later bush and cutting the outer column down to size at the bottom. If you had an indicator pin on your original you will need to drill and tap to the same position as your original sample.
Does your complete column maintain the original steering wheel position. Yes it does, give or take a couple of mm
So depends if you are using it for a road or race application?
I'm purely road use, wanted indicator return without drilling holes, plus a few other requirements so went a different route in the end.

A friend has a column and QR installed on his 1980 Clubman and has had no problems.
Yes, I've got one and it's a quality product.

Does anyone know if this would fit with a later style MPI outer column and stalks?
