Colour is Nissan TV2 bayside blue.

I thought it was BMW Estoril Blue for a minute.

I've now prepped up all of the panels ready for colour

 

 

And then painted the back of those panels.

 

 

 

 

Next, those panels will be bolted back to the car so that the whole car can be painted in one. This is to ensure that the effect coat is perfectly even across all of the panels.

I like your theory on this, painting the inside of the door frames etc etc allowing then for full exterior paint job..
Presume all paint is now base coat and lacquer..

On with the final prep today.

 

First job was to rehang the panels.

 

 

 

 

 

And then the final sanding can commence. This is to feather out the blue overspray and to finish the primer.
