As for cheap parts, have a look in our for sale section, go on ebay and just keep hunting for that bargain.

If your engine has been burned be careful with it, 'because some rubber parts in engines turn into a lethal acid after they have been burned above 400 degress. Especially O-rings.

Have you heard about the Notts About Minis club?? Real friendly people..
Also, I've used 2 mini specialist garages, Roy @ Nottingham Mini Centre at Lady Bay Bridge and Geoff @ SurfBlue in Giltbrook (NAM members get 10% discount here ) Both are really helpful...
