Love minis, love the idea of electric, but thats bonkers and kinda makes a mockery of electric for so many reasons , if it costs that much.

I've been waiting for this episode to appear.

I contacted them for a quotation a couple of months ago and it was £60,000.

Looking forward to seeing an image of a classic mini charging alongside a row of the latest Teslas SUVs etc and seeing people's response when they see it.

I could be wrong, but I saw a YouTube video of a guy in the US who bought a crash damaged Tesla, from what he said, as soon as it’s written off, the VIN is blocked by Tesla themselves and therefore the ability to use Tesla fast charging is not possible. Obviously you can use any other public station, just not Teslas. Could have changed by now of course and not apply to U.K.

You could buy a tesla, strip it, fit everything in your mini and not tell anyone? 🙄

Trust me, that’s impossible.

Bit late to this. But not sure if its impossible, as mentioned by Midas Mk1, but I know Teslas get funky if you start messing with their wiring. Simone Giertz (Youtuber) converted a Model 3 into a pickup and faced some difficulties with the electronics. There are videos on her channel that show the process and the trials she had to achieve it.
