hi all

as the title, anybody out there using this engine? with drive by wire?

ill take that as a no then, i was wondering how difficult it would be to use the DBW system in a mini, and would it be possible to adapt the throttle pedal to use the honda pedal sensor. and could you then use the original honda ECU as a type of stand alone engine management system, or would this not work for any particular reason? open to suggestions or advice here.

With the will and the skill anything is possible.With most of its sensors missing and/or not calibrated for its new home I would not expect it to work.DriveBy Wire faults could have catastrophic results if it fails.
I am not saying to not do it but I think more research is needed.Steve..

sonscar to be honest i was thinking the same thing, gonna have a look at converting to cable using a different throttle body possibly intake manifold, and engine harness i have read somewhere that it can be done,with parts from the k20a2

come on all you honda guys, just a bit of info would be helpful eg what ecu are you using, basic wiring set up, im starting from scratch here, ive decided to scrap dbw altogther and go for the standard cable throttle, then use a mapped after market ecu to run the engine, yes,no?? like i say just abit of basic info on how you lot did yours
