Some measurements - or even just a photo with a tape measure - would be really handy, thank you. It'll be weeks before I get chance to do anything, though. Car's only halfway through the paint process. and the only part I have here is a bare, grimy (Metro? SPi?) 1275 engine/box of unknown provenance and which probably needs a complete tear-down and rebuild. Guess it's time I started on that. Better invest in a large pot of Swarfega. And fire up the parts-cleaner. And chat to the bank manager.
