The back box on my GEX33519 exhaust has separated from the pipe that goes into its front-end due to rust.  "That was a good run", as they say, especially since it was installed 9 years ago back in 2012 to a 1991 HIF44 carb'd Mainstream Cooper that is only used for short city-driving trips where the pipes likely did not get hot enough to evaporate off the water in the exhaust.

So now I am in the market for a replacement and I see two reasonably priced choices: a GEX33519 or a C-STR812 RC40.

What do people recommend if looking for a replacement that will be the least expensive and quieter and longest lasting exhaust?

Even though it will likely last longer, I've already ruled out the stainless RC40 single box (http://www.minispare.../C-STR811S.aspx) because I figure it's likely louder (one box, not two) and is not only more expensive to buy, but I also have a honking shipping cost to the USA to factor in.

So I think I'm limited to trying to choose between putting the same type back in:

or switching to this type:

Since these two are virtually the same price... any thoughts on which is the better choice for quieter and longest lasting?

As always - thank you all in advance for your advice!

I've already ruled out the stainless RC40 single box as it's likely louder and more expensive to buy AND to ship to the USA.
