Hi guys

I've been doing a project for about 7 years which is nearly there!

In that time I had to go from an 82 City shell to 91 1.3i spi shell. It was green white roof bi
but I've since changed to tartan red and black roof. The engine is also an 998 as that's what I had for the project. It has been ported and a set of rolling rockers put on.

My questions are what do I need to change on my v5? Both or just the engine?

Cheers!

Your v5 would have to state 1991 1.3 spi, with the matching vin and registration plates.

If this is the v5 you intend to be changing, then the engine capacity and colour must match what is in the vehicle

So you are repairing a 91 SPi  you will need show proof the the replacement engine is older or you will need to meet the SPi emission regs.

presuming you are in the UK.

Before doing anything I would check on reshelling and V5 implications. All I will say is beware and careful.Steve..
