if i'm not mistaken up to about 1982 minis came fitted with these chrome mirrors with chrome plinths as standard...therefore you'll need them, I think..

I sure do need the chrome plinths. as the mirrors are ok, but seem abit to low, need to be little higher. wheres cheapest place to get em.

Having put this mirrors on, i can finaly see looks nice as well..

I bought min efrom MBM but any mini specialist will have them...dsn, minispares, minisport, etc...

check out on ebay you can find some for a cheap price
