Hi all,

 

I thought I would introduce myself and some of the products we have available - with several more to come. My name is Will Nicholson and I've been in the automotive and marine design industry for the last 10 years. We've recently released a few products that were designed for our personal classic mini as the parts were not available or up to our standards.

 

I've attached some pictures of the latest Exacton centre caps which I have just put up on our store. As I’m sure a lot of you know, the originals are getting quite hard to find now and are fragile at best. Our design is made from a very durable and UV stable plastic.

Hi all,

 

New product has just been put up on the online shop. SPi fuse cover. I couldn't find any available online and needed a replacement for my own car. Our design is made from heat and UV resistant plastic which firmly snaps on to the fuse block like the original did.

Hi all,

 

Another product that I've put up on our site last week. Micro stereo/amp holders.

 

I've been using one of these Doruk Audio NobSound amp/stereos in my mini for a couple of years now. I was looking for a hidden and simple audio system and came up with this. It's no massive output hifi audio system, but for the small size it's amazing the power and quality it puts out. I've got no affiliation with Doruk Audio, just been a happy with the product and own two myself.

For anyone that is interested, I have recently put up our Exacton/Mini Special wheel nut covers. Available here : Third Shed Moto | Exacton Wheel Nut Covers x 16

 

Slightly different from the original design and featuring a brushed finish which matches our centre caps. Will fit wheel nut GAW113A

Hi will, just been looking at your amp holder and amp.Looks great, think I may have to get both.Can I ask what speakers to you use on this set up?I've got a mini pickup and I don't want to mount any speakers

Cheers! In my mini I've got 4 speakers. 2 x 4" in the front door pockets (which were already there) and a pair of 6" or maybe 6.5" (I can't quite remember) Pioneer speakers which I put in the rear parcel shelf. I mounted these from the underside with a small adapter plate and are completely hidden by the parcel shelf carpet.

 

The front's are a bit average to be honest, but the PO already installed these and I think they are not in 'new' condition. Pic attached. But with the addition of the 6" in the rear it is pretty good and I'm happy as it is.

 

The NobSound amp's are quite impressive. I have no affiliation what so ever, but have been super impressed. I also have one at home connected to a pair of Q Audio speakers which absolutely crank. I've hardly had the volume off minimum for the sake of my neighbours. Bluetooth always works as well.

 

I don't know mini pickups very well, but I'm sure you could hide a pair (or maybe x4) of 6"/6.5" speakers somewhere and power them with the NobSound amp.

After a bit of a hiatus, we are back! New website and updated bulkhead blanking plate kit. The new design has some tweaks. We've gone to CNC machining for these now rather than 3D printing. It's allowed us to step up the numbers we can make and improve the quality. Also some engineering tweaks around tolerances and the way the two parts join together. These are available for presale on our website with delivery later next month. These have been quite popular so get in while you can.

 

Shipping is from New Zealand now, however we have subsidised the price, and to the UK it works out to be around £12 shipping (actual cost calculated at the checkout) - I think this is very fair :)
