Hey peeps i am wanting to up grade the beakes as when i tested them they appear to be very poor and the front calipers have about had it, seals etc.

I and wanting some 4pot calipers but dont no if there is much differance in buying the standard metro ones or to go for the likes of mini sports alloy 4pot caliper???

Will obviously using the vented discs with the grives as well.

The alloy calipers and the metro calipers are basically equal in performance, they use the same brake pads. the alloy 4 pots are much lighter though, an look all nice an shiny. :D

the metro brakes need the twin pipe conversion on the hoses. if u want to save weight then obviously the alloy ones but to be honest the metro ones are good for far less money. make sure u buy good quality pads though as they can make or brake the effectivness. avoid EBC IMHO.

Thanks for the feed back its really informative anyone else using or done a brake conversion??

so are we saying not much point in forking out for the expensive alloys calipers??

just get some decent discs and pads and stick with the origional metro 4pot calipers, making sure i get the correct brake line to them?

I will have for sale two brand new goodrich braded hoses by the sound of it anyone interested....

most people go for the alloy ones to use in conjunction with 10" wheels. so i would go for the metro ones with good pads mate :D

yer i am going for 13 x 7 so thik the metro ones will be no problems at all
