Right found out that my drivers side interior light swtich doesnt work..... upon investigation there isnt a wire connect to it.... how do I get to it?

Twist the air vent to unlock it, gently pull away the dash liner and you can get access via the hole you will see where the door stay is behind the liner. use a bit of bent copper wire to fish for it. Should be one wire with a bullet connector

i need to find the wire too!!! on both sides but can't for love nor money get the vent to untwist!!! how the hell!!!

just fish for it through the hole were the switch goes.

unscrew the outer ring then a quarter turn on the air vent should see it pop out.(if you have a dash)

I have just found (only on passenger side) two purple and white wires, i take i these are BOTH to be crimped into the bullet connector, and the the switch will earth throught the screw that holds it on?

can't see anywires on drivers side

Yep thers two wires on the passenger side with one of them running along the lower dash raill to the drivers side.

i had to take my dash liner out

So do i use one purple and white wire per side then guys,

yes but as i explained '1984, both mine had been crimped onto one.
