Looks like some light at the end of the tunnel, liked the look of the links, Classicminisjapan.com and Valtain parts, will have to call Sommerfords I've seen them on the net but never used them.  I've used Chic Doug before so called them regarding the quality of rubber parts, they didn't have an answer due to being in the same boat as the rest of us.

Agree about the rubber fuel filler neck seal. Have replaced mine three times, all genuine mini spares. I think they last less than a year before perishing.
