I would recommend using a known straight edge long enough to cover all three flanges and a small set square, use the straight edge to see if they are all in line and the square for the individual flanges

You will also see where it's not flat,I did mine still on car,just lifted up enough,so need not apply much pressure

But again, the problem is the inlet manifold not the exhaust.

Also if I was to put just a little gasket sealer on the gasket would this do it any harm ? https://www.ebay.co....tm/392984516181
I’ve also ordered a turbo gasket not cheap but fingers crossed, I’ve got new studs, rings, and proper mpi manifold bolts coming too from Minispares

Mine had air leak here,which the mpi matched with extra fuel,
My stainless lcb was glowing red at idle !!!,
Now all ok

Yea got it fitted yesterday, much better and no leaks, ticks over a little low now but just need to set it up now
I.e stepper (IACV) and give it a drive to learn the ECU, but yes I’m about there 🙏 I’ve another thread with some videos it’s under 1998 mpi running issue after restoration or search my content (there’s plenty 😂🤦♂️)
