Same connector as the rad is the easy question, Japanese Minis had a side mounted rad, UK Minis had front mounted so Rover just made one loom that fitted either variant.
(you'll also find a thick red wire from B7 fuse going up to the roof for the optional electric fabric sunroof).
Not sure on the brownish/orange wire, poss for the starter motor (it should have three wires, one black, one brown, & one red).

If it is brown, it looks like it broke at the fusible link splice joint SJ7 per the wiring diagram, which would be missing together with the eyelet terminal, C823-1/C178-1. This circuit feeds the front fog lamp relay fuse.
