Hotels can be a challenge as there's a few things going on on the island around the same time. We've got discounts arranged with Cheverton Copse which is walking distance from the airfield. We've used their vans ourselves for the last couple of years and it's a good in-between.

Unbelievably it's now only 100 days until the Saturday of the IOW weekend! Where's the year going!

Coming from northwest if anyone from around that way going. Could meet up.
Do I need to put name down on mailing list etc.
Looking forward to it. Hopefully weather will be kind to us.

Just booked ferry. Struggling to find accommodation that isn’t a bit too expensive so guess we gonna camp. Just be me and my 10 year old son.

Good stuff! Happy to add you to the West Country Minis mailing list. We try to have something about the IOW event in most emails but you might get the odd one that’s more generic. PM me your email address if you want.
Less than 25 days now, too. Last update was that there are over 100 Minis on the 10am (Saturday) crossing, that’ll be amazing to see!

Hi Ben
We went there on Sunday, what a great selection of cars, there were some amazing American cars, were you there?
If forgotten unfortunately.
Roger and Kirsty went and messaged me from ryde to see if I was there/going.
I was in ryde but shopping so couldn't stop with chilled items.
I attempted to drive along the esplanade but the road was closed so that was that.
Cheers
Ben

2021 was a great weekend even if I do say so myself!
More people, more cars and the weather was a repeat of previous years - sunshine and clear skys.
Thanks to everyone that came along. We're already starting the 2022 prep, always a few things to improve and new challanges to learn from.
We'll be updating websites, sending emails etc.. with a quick review of the event and some pictures, I'll put some stuff in this thread as well.
