Well the parts for the gearbox rebuild have all arrived looking forward to getting the box built and then on to the engine soon fingers crossed

Whoa, just noticed this thread as I don't browse this forum section often. Loving everything about the build 👌 Did the engine get any sort of tune internally?

So I’ve managed to fit the carb and throttle cables this isn’t the inlet manifold I will be running just using it to get a road worthy before modifying the bulkhead as here in Australia as long as you pay your rego (tax) then there’s no need of a yearly inspection (Mot)
Im looking at running the med weber air filter snd sub stack package

Not a massive tune but here are some of the things done
Cam
Small amount of porting to the head
1.5 roller rockers
X pin diff
1293cc
New crank
Weber 45
Med airfilter and stack kit
Maniflow full exhaust system
Manifolw 3.5” intake manifold
Straight cut gears
Lightened and balanced flywheel and clutch
Full rebuild of engine and box including 1293 over boar Hydroblasted box before rebuild with all new parts fitted
All new parts fitted right through the rebuild

Fingers crossed it will be ok

The roadworthy guy didn’t like how the wheels stick out and wanted them covered luckily I picked up some GT arches and after a bit of repairing and painting they look great

A good mate made up the air filter box for me in stainless steel this will be fitted after getting a roadworthy along with the MED air filter and induction kit

Looks great with the arches! Suits the car nicely :)
