no a propper r1, and you obviously don`t know bike clutches?I did think that myself but Im not sure if he owns an R1 powered mini as well. If not though, how do you fit an LSD to an R1? Even a diff for that matter?

i have two r1s, bikes are my passion, race and road, my car is just something i had a go at doing because i could, and the 3 ton 197 horse motor is adequate, i could stick an r1 motor in a car i have three or four laying around, but power to weight in a a 4xv r1 is 137 bhp in something that weighs 198 kilos. now i know it was the first ever bike to acheive a thousand bhp per ton, but that was claimed by yamaha. it was discredited by the motor cycle press, and my numb cxe motor was built to drag a car around that weighed a ton and a half, so it does work both ways i think,Who's been swearing???! lol Missed that. If I seemed to offend Miff, I do apologise. I was honestly asking what he's power to weight ratio was and whether it handled any worse for having a 3 tonne lump up front. Only a few people have ever fit these ultra light R1 motors upfront in a Mini and I was just interested in how they compare to more common machinery. And I was genuinely asking him if he's got an R1 powered car or some sort off ultra special R1 with an LSD.

quite happy to admit up front that i don't know anyting about bike engines/gearboxes but...... i though lsd's and diffs in general are used to transmit power to 2+ wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds (hence the name differential) . whats the point of a diff on a bike?? also, i though diff's were part of the gearbox, not the clutch mechanism.

Your the one that doesn't know bike clutches, go and read a book before open your mouth, and also keep your worthless comments to yourself

I have money dropping out of my ass so i am having all the stuff done in a shop.......LOL just kidding
Half the fun is making all this stuff my self, and i am using mild steel donuts for the manifold.
