Wouldn't it be an issue for the lifetime warranty otherwise - they'd be at the mercy of any C**p sloshing round in your gearbox or low oil level?

The Austin Rover Mini Cooper S Quaife ATB differential has many benefits over a standard open differential, including maximising traction and minimizing wheelspin, eliminating torque steer and snatching in front wheel drive cars compared to conventional LSD units, and a maintenance-free design which retains the standard oil lubrication.

If they have low oil or C**p oil there will be no warranty

what can I say, I have three of all together, two of them have large holes for oil, the bike engined version is mostly sealed with small holes which are plugged with bolts, on of them is a grease nipple for filling
If they have low oil or C**p oil there will be no warranty

want to sell one? I need one for for my pro-motive conversion ( pending ) theyve quoted an extra £575.00 to supply an LSD which I believe is a quaife unit.
agree regarding warranties - it'll assume you take good care of the unit in operation.

I have R1 engine mini and i have some proplems with generator... Too much load:lights, fan, heater, injection, compressor(pneunematic gears) and battery is dead after one day driving.
Generator pull out 14.5v in 5000rmp/min without load. I think at generator is ok , but it is too small for car? Do you have tricks to get more power from generator? Reculator mod or something?
Sorry poor english, but i am from Finland and i learn all this from McCyver....

You could easily use a car alternator by asking TTS performance parts for one of there pulleys off the supercharger kits.

I have re-wired reculator + and - to direct to main. Its help lite, its ok if lights is on but when fan start voltages go under 13v... And fan is on about 80% of time. Its kill battery.
Koss ? Its that 500ah normalcar battery or bikebattery? Yamaha R1 orginal is only 10ah so that 500ah is extralarge???

Yes its a car battery off a big diesel. I have an electric motor for reversing, that needs lots of power. Not bad idea that car alternator, but if you have get it work without that then i can too .

The bike battery is only good for bikes.
Another option is to have two battery's on a split charge system one for engine and one for the car.
With everything electrical going on my car at the same time it can demand more than 100A.
