Cheers Cal, I might well enlist an extra foot to help out. The bit that's baffled me is that whatever's happening with the front offside calliper, the brakes are strong with no pulling to the side. Yes both calipers are on the correct sides with the bleed nipples at the top.

Stu.

Oh don't worry buddy, your situation with the lack of fluid on one corner is concerning me too.

In the mean time I advise that you only drive the car on very quiet roads where there is plenty of room incase you lose control... I've seen that a few times, not pretty!

I wonder if it would be worth while trying to gravity bleed it with the caliper removed, (just to see if the issue is the flex line, a blockage or the caliper) then a final bleed once the caliper is on? I usually do that if I'm changing calipers or wheel cylinders. It can be messy though so use plenty of rags or spillage granules at the ready.

We will not be beaten!

Cal

Probably be a couple of weeks before I can get back onto it but plan to adjust the rears and go through the bleed sequence again, conveniently the o/s/f is the last to be bled so I'll remove the nipple completely and see what I can find - wish I'd done that today!

My nsf was last to flow when I replaced all the major components - master cylinder, callipers, pwda, wheel cylinders and flexi pipes- on my '87 Advantage during lockdown, used a Gunston eezibleed but started off with all four corners open; the reason being, to stop any air shunting between front and rear circuit. Did a couple more passes in the conventional sequence and pedal is rock solid. I bought 4 litres of Dot 4 and used 3/4 of it during bleeding. Have since completed a 1500 mile D-Day beaches visit with no issues.
