I'm redoing the wiring on my '92 JDM Rover Mini using proper fuses and relays and what not...I think I have the wiper circuit figured out, but I wanted to confirm...

Does the wiper motor always draw power from the thick LGO wire, or does it also draw power from the switch? I'm hoping the switch wires only send a "signal" to the motor, which then draws power from that one big wire...This would let me use one thick 15A wire from the fusebox to the motor and only run thin, low-current wires to the ignition.

Does this jibe with reality? I don't think my car has a discrete "front wiper control unit"...
