"British Motor Heritage Limited was established in 1975 to support classic car owners by putting genuine components for classic British cars back into manufacture, using original tools wherever possible. Mike visits the factory, where they produce over 60 car bodies a year, to see how their commitment to craft keeps the spirit and character of Mini's alive in the 21st century."

Saw it on Youtube & was reluctant to click, expecting too much Brewer baloney, but I have to concede he did a decent job. He genuinely looked thrilled to be there.

There seemed to be more spot welds in places than on the originals to me - or is just that they're more obvious in the nuddy?

I was reluctant as above and if Brewer dropped his London geezer wide boy car salesman act more often as he did in that, he could produce more good watchable tv. Love him or loathe him, his passion for old classic cars is the same as all the members on here, and dropping the wide boy script, allows it to come through.

I think he could have cut some of the yap and the program would have been better for it.

That said I never tire of seeing this place and the stuff they produce.

Would love to have a trip around there.

Would love to have a trip around there.

The Mini Cooper Register organise tours of the BMH works for members most years, usually timed to coincide with production of a batch of Mini bodyshells.
