what is a reconed 998 late A+ motor worth, the one that is with the flat top pistons and push fit little ends. Its got new +20 pistons, 12g940 head skimmed down to suit, unleaded seats, standard cam, good box, new clutch. Basically its all overhauled, but has done 200 miles.

Sold my last one a couple of years back for £450. Which wasn’t a reconditioned unit

thanks, itll be reconned by me, im just trying to justify spending some money on the engine, i would have thought it would be worth around the £400 area. The head must be worth a bit on its own now.
