There is antidrum on the insides of the doors and quarter panels.

I will add then to the roof too before a sheet of underfelt and then the headlining.

As for the usb, it's very simple. One ignition live and an earth. The amp requires a ignition live, a permanent live and an earth

Cheers

Ben

I've made a start trimming this mini today.

First job was to take care of the hidden speakers.

I've fitted a pair of 6×9s in the shelf

And then the customer made this out of ply

7WsJ0nu.jpg

Which I trimmed in acoustic carpet

I've stuck down the sound deadening

Glued in the sound deadening to the roof skin

Glued in the arch covers

Then threaded the rods into the headliner

Hung it

And then started glueing it in

More tomorrow!

If you mean the black foam mat material I stuck to the floor in this update, it's a kit that comes from optimise automotive that's all precut and self adhesive.

The headlining looks like great quality and improves the appearance of the interior no end.

Is that also from Optimise Automotive?

Yes. The entire trim for this car except for the door trims and seats are from optimise.

The headliner is very good quality and fits very well.

They are also much nicer to fit than thr vinyl type headliners and in my opinion look much nicer.

Cheers.

Ben

I've finished installing the headlining.

Next step, glass

Windscreen first

zan8jzv.jpg

Then back window

pyVGrad.jpg

Then the sunroof.

I sanded the external frame as it was corroded

JQpvyLQ.jpg

Then gave it a fresh coat of black

5Hb482f.jpg

That then gets stuck to the roof with non setting sealer

With the other half of the frame inside

Then once screwed together , the excess headling is trimmed

And then it's finished off with a felt covered rubber trim

And of course the glass

Hi Ben,

Nice to see some progress on the Advantage  :shifty:

Do you know exactly what finish the Optimise headliner is? They have a great range, but the one in this mini looks to be exactly what I was hoping for on mine.

Thanks

Greg
