Thanks Ben, yes mine was from a 2011 so not brilliant, it doesn't look too bad to remove but as you say time consuming.

I have now finished prep on the offside panels and applied epoxy

Dropped to the floor this afternoon ready to start on the roof prep

Lots of zinc primer overspray which really covers how rusty it really is

Well that's the roof stripped back of rust and flaky paint

That's one thing I've found throughout this project, the original paint and primer has rust underneath it so what looks like sound paint starts to flake off in sheets leaving bare rusty metal beneath hence the decision to strip it all off everywhere.
There is now none of the original paint remaining anywhere on the car.
