Hi has anyone converted back to a MK1 switch assembly I have a wired by Wilson assembly and fancy going for a MK1 look in MK5 car has this been done ??

If you read through my blog you'll see that it is necessary to weld in a filet to reduce the size of the switch panel aperture to take the Mk1 panel.

I converted mine, as said above you'll need to ideally weld a fillet piece into the bottom of the hole as the switch panel is a bit smaller, 1/2" wide from memory.
