I have run out of upol #5 high build, I need one can to prime a few small spots where I am back to bear metal before I spray top coat

I don’t think it should matter what brand I use I can get some from Halfords round the corner from me when I walk the go

Am I correct I don’t want to cause problems with top coat

One thing I am sure about with paint is that you can never be sure it will not react now or later.I try to stick to the same brand products.Steve..

Aerosols can be a problem. However, I have used Halfords yellow hi-build and grey primers to temporarily protect new welded in panels and have not had any reticulation issues when finally painting with cellulose.
