Hi I've been on the forum for quite a while but haven't uploaded any thing for years, could someone help and explain how to upload pictures to my posts as my over 50's brain has forgotten!!
Many thanks Andy.

Hi Andy,

For PC, go over to Imgur and upload your pictures (I made an account so I can access the in future).

Once uploaded, click your picture and find the link labeled "BBCode" and copy and paste it into your post.

Should look something like this:

Hope that helps.

Ok, can I use my mobile as the pictures are in my gallery? I do have an account but not used it for years and was on my PC.

Ah ok, I don't use the mobile version.

If you go to Imgur on your phone, then request the desktop site using your browser options (normally in the top right, looks like 3 dots), you should be able to access them like the PC.

You will need to log into your Imgur account on your mobile. And maybe download the app for your device.

I always run an adblocker on my browser so I don't suffer the ads on Imgur, which improves it greatly. My only addition to the guide posted above is that you may need to click "get share links" on your picture and select the BBCode from there.

I use the mobile app on Android to upload pictures I've taken with my phone and then when I post on here using my PC I use the website for the links. When I upload an album or picture I always set it to private so it doesn't go into their general gallery and you can get all sorts of hobbledehoys commenting and whatnot.

I have downloaded the imgur app and I can't see where you upload images, all I can see are stupid video's and pics that other people have put up!!! Why can't this be easy.

Yeah it is full of that sort of stuff. to upload you need to press the little camera icon in the middle of the bottom row. really unclear, forgot to mention that.
