The $64000 dollar question.
So from my point of view and owning a lot of air tools (aviation industry) i run a 4hp belt driven 200ltr compressor in my workshop and this runs everything at full speed other than my high speed die grinder, although its not far off. I also use this to spray with.
Now i also have a 3.5 hp 100ltr V twin compressor at home. This will also run all of my air tools but not at full speed especially my DA and high speed grinder.

To be fair I was looking at 4hp 100litre 14cfm but wasn't sure if that would run everything so thought it better to ask for advice. The one ive got that's just broke would run my DA but it was continually running which I didn't like.

That was the problem with my compressor at home. It will run pretty much continually when using a DA or my high speed die grinder. The 4hp 200ltr is an old compressor my son gave me and it does the job. Not the quietest machine but perfect for my needs.
If i was a professional then i would be paying big bucks for a rotary screw type compressor.

your best buying some cheep lekky tools and a 50 ltr v twin compressor. I have a lekky DA that works really well, its quiet too.

You have a lot of very air hungry tools so I would be looking at something at 150L and 14CFM as a minimum. I've just bought one for my new space as I currently use a 50L compressor, this runs out of air very quickly when using things like a die grinder and spray gun.
I would probably suggest you look to get the most powerful & largest unit you can justify and fit in the space you have!
Don't forget that the average 3HP ones are on the limit of being safely fed from a 13a supply, anything more powerful and you'd have to start looking into having a beefier power supply installed.

I have a 3hp 100 litre Clarke compressor, runs most things ok, blasting can be slow as I have a cabinet but my da sander worked fine, it also ran an airfed mask with a devilbis sri but wouldn’t cope with a full sized gun and airfed, I gave up on my air da due to noise and couldn’t really warrant compressor 3hp running pretty much flat out for sanding, I ended up buying a Mirka ceros sander, it is superb and as good as an air da, far quieter and uses much less electricity than the compressor. The Clarke doesn’t run off a 13amp plug and needs 16amp minimum, although it’s wired direct on a 20amp breaker. If I was doing more spraying I would get another 3hp and run in tandem as spraying and using an airfed mask is very heavy on air.
