Hi everyone,
I restored my 1985 City E 11 years ago, before using daily for a number of years.
It is now running a 1275.
However, it has been virtually unmoved for the past 3/4 years for a number of reasons, mostly work.
To get back on the road, the car needs a bit of work doing - mostly welding.
I am looking forward to getting my hands dirty mechanically, but am going to take it to a professional for the bodywork as I wouldn't know where to start.
My goal for this project is to develop it into a fast road / trackday toy.
Whilst it is in the garage for this work, I feel it is the ideal time to give the car a real going over.
I would like to build a front subframe assembly; then drop the old subframe when it is in the garage and swap everything over.
I'm struggling to find a definitive list of components required to build a complete front subframe assembly.
Does anyone have any links/articles/information on what is required, so I can be sure to get all the parts needed?
Many thanks in advance,
Matt
