Afternoon All,

Rather stupidly I did not take / have lost / maybe deleted the vital pictures from the take-down of my '89 MINI that showed me how the throttle and choke cables are setup!  :shy:  >_<

I've got the abutment plate and can see where the cables go through (I assume there is a a clip for the choke cable to hold it into place) but then how they go I am a little stumped.  I've looked in the Haynes but the drawing I have is not very detailed so does anyone have a picture or diagram?  It's a 1.5" HS4 on a 998 all standard.

I've got the various clips, split pins etc. ready to go - could just do with looking at the 'how' to make sure what I think might be right is, in fact, right.  ;D

Thanks!

There are a couple of photos in this thread which show the connections.

Depending on year/type of abutment plate you have, the choke cable may be held on with this clip -

Hope this helps.
