Hi All I'm new to the forum and hope it's ok to post this question,
I'm on the lookout to buy a mini again I've previously Owened a 1997 Rover mini and ideally would like another one similar to that , I've looked a few recently all seem to have problems a really clean one has become available near me a 1995 Rover Mayfair , could anyone tell me the differences between the Mayfair and the standard minis of that time ?
Thanks for any responses

The range at that time was Sprite, mayfair and cooper. All 1275 cc single point injection. The sprite was the most basic, no radio, no rev counter, plastic wheel trims etc. The mayfair was the next step up with plusher upholstery, stereo cassette, tinted glass, rev counter opening rear quarter windows etc. Cooper was the 'sporty 'version with cintrasting roof colour, minilight style alloys etc. The sportspack and twin point injected minis were later, '96/7
