Welcome to the Budget Build series in this series we aim to prove that it shouldn't cost tens of thousands of pounds to restore a classic car.

With a budget of £1500 want to try and get the shell to a painted stage. So thats metal work, paint including the cost of buying the car.

This build will be fully logged with time and money that will be spent to prove that if your willing to have a go yourself you can also achieve this for yourself.

Enjoy

This will be interesting, good luck. Looking around it's nigh on impossible to buy a project for £1500 these days, never mind repair it as well. You’ve done well so far.

Thanks I was lucky enough to find the car fairly cheap and saw it in its bare bones as well. (Pre Stripped) I hope I can acheive this as its the metal work that puts people off having a classic of their own.

I will be searching for deals and panels that come up for sale. The repair sections I will have a go at making. I wont be using hertiage floors etc as the car just doesnt need it. Lets see what comes up for sale.

I wont have a choice when it comes to the clubman wing etc as they are only made by heritage but again with black friday coming up there might be a saving there.

This is coming in an epsiode next week, the cost of the car and where I am up to now, also logging my hours to. The fact its a clubman is making the budget tighter.
