do all 1275 heads have 11 studs? i was just looking at a Sprite that the owner said was a 1275 but the head had plugs where the air injectors went and it was 9 stud.

No, only the 1275 S type heads. 1275 head with plugs where the air injectors use to be were used on smog cars. My cyl. head on my A+ motor.
