Top Of The Door Leaks With A Gap Between The Window Frame And Seal

I have found that the driver door on my Mini leaks through the top between the window frame and door seal, by using a hose pipe. There is very little contact with the seal and the window frame but the rest of the door (below the wing mirror)compresses it tightly and has no issue. I have tried adjusting the hinges but it has made no difference. Not sure what I can do, can anyone help?

try tapping the seam out slightly on the door aperture until the rubber seal makes contact with the door frame.
