Hi and thanks there is so much info here, I have recently got a 1986 998 now fitted stage 1 and gold alloys, starting to take shape. A long tome ago in my youth all Ihad was Ministry and spent my time shaping engines etc. good to get back to some simple engineering

Gold rims look really cool! Reminds me of classic Lotus F1 Cars in JPS livery:

Hi Guys.
Recently returned to the classic mini scene after a small gap in ownership ( 50 years)
Back in the day owned 850s, Van,Countryman, 66 cooper s , Riley elf, Wolseley hornet, and 1275 GT.

I must be mad at my age, but have only had the car a few months, where I have enjoyed working on it and have already changed a number of things making it my car if you get my gist.

I have couple of problems and will be testing your knowledge soon

Cheers for now Gray.
