well something that is not in the thread (as it's about HI-LO fitting and not rubber cone replacement), and from my experience today, you will have to remove the suspension top arm, as there is no way the cone can come out with the arm in place (at least on my car)
to remove the top arm you need to acces from the engine compartment, radiator side, you may need to remove the radiator to access the bolts, on the driver side, it's below/behind the washer bottle
I am still stuck on the radiator side where I have started, as I dont have the correct spanner yet, I'll take a few pic, could be usefull.

does my front suspension look a bit low??

take the rad out nagh dont need to do that itts a bit of a fiddle but 1/4 drive socket set and some long extention bars work very well and a rachet 7/16's spanner helps too
i do rubber cone replacement all the time takes about 2 hrs in total

well with experience and all the suitable tools it may be faster
