I once had one on an MPI which took over 2 weeks with my very big puller being tightened a bit more every day. Finally it just popped off.

one point to note is a new puller does need some use for the ball to compress the center of the main bolt.

 

you did lube the main bolt.

If it still won't shift, you could try hot/cold shocks. Heat up the mounting area with a butane torch or, an oxy-acetaline torch, then quench it with cold water, then freeze it with 'Shock & Unlock' then heat it up again. Keep on trying to tighten the puller as you do this.
It may take some time.

Please forgive me for asking, but you have removed the big bolt in the end of the crank. ?

 

you have to to use the guess works puller. but you could still leave the washer in place though.

I borrowed a big snap on impact gun and it came off no bother !
