Got the car booked in with LynxAE to do the suspension setup and engine map; the downside is that due to a combination of factors, that's not going to happen 'til the end of july.
in the meantime; and something i should really have done when the car came back from the body shop, i thought i'd better check the rear subframe geometry.
Diagonals came out within a couple of millimeters of each other, and with the aid of a plumbline, a marker stick to do the arcs off each corner, and a laser level i could plot the centre line of the rear subframe down the length of the car, and see how far off the centreline of the front subframe it was
3mm over 217cm, which according to my maths is naff all.
Assuming i haven't made a fundamental mistake in marking everything out and plotting the centreline, that's a good starting point, and a testament to Ben's skills when he replaced the floor.
I've also got round to putting an infill into the air duct to cover the hole i had to cut to clear the clutch cover casting. Can't imagine it'll do much to improve airflow, but should at least keep the worst of the rain/bugs/grit from getting through
the other job that needs sorting is the tonneau. the old one no longer fits as the fasteners are in slightly different positions, but i've managed to re-position most the eyelets so it fits reasonably well which means i can send it off to be used as a pattern for a replacement
