Real temped to advertise my mini this year or might just put it into storage and forget about it!!!

 

1st ever limited edition mini (very rare) unmolested and was stored in a garage since 1990 where i recommissioned it.

been featured in mini mag, top 25 cars at castle combe.

 

Cant find another for sale so no idea on a price

Love the wind deflector. Is that period? Would love to get one for my car. Only seen more modern versions and not keen on the shape of them.

As for valuation, who knows...think it'll be very difficult to pin a value on it. Not sure if one of the club's (BMC) could value it accurately for you {for a charge of course} ?

I have just spent some money on sorting a few things out. The seats needed re stuffing and the engine was running a little rough ( technical term ! ) and there was a very audible `clunk` ( another tech term ) when accelerating and coming off the accelerator. I am keen to do a few events. The last one one I attended was the Mini`s and Mods at the ACE cafe, London North Circular but quite a few years ago. The same year I was at the Uxbridge Auto show .....need to get out more and make the effort to attend Mini orientated meets.
