So this is the Mini as it stands, 5 years on from a nut and bolt Resto. As it’s being stripped this year for overhaul I’m changing the colour. It’s also going archless and back onto skinny rose petals. More of an appendix K look.
What are the thoughts on 60s colours ?
At the moment it’s a toss up between the following....

I assume it's OEW?

What about grey with a black roof? There's a lovely grey that I have seen on some pictures of Mk1s. I think it's called Farina Grey or Tweed Grey.

Smoke Grey is a nice 60's colour, but then as someone else said it looks nice in the current colour

Tweed grey with a white roof is a good combo.
Still leaning towards fiesta yellow and a custom, darker OEW roof

I had a mini pickup in surf blue with a black roof, a saloon would look cool in that colour combination. If not then as a runner up it has to be almond green with OEW roof.

Agree with the OP, those 60s colours and appendix K looks are lush.
Fiesta yellow is my fav, along with Willow green, having the Swiftune association. But I do love surf blue, dream of driving around town in a surf blue S and the greys are surprisingly beautiful.
As yours is a later car might just work better using a period but non-factory (cooper) colour?
