I picked up a full set of OE green tinted glass today , rear opening quarters and rear window with heated screen.
Anybody know what this would have been on originally?
Was it optional on any mini.
There was a grille with C ### ### plate on it
Ref screen still had a MAX POWER sticker on it LOL.

All the late cars (I think past 94) had green tinted windows. I know all MPi's did!

The number plate came off an Austin 1986 Mini City E 1000cc.
Did they have the big rear window ?

So did the LE 35 Monte Carlo 1996 have green tinted glass?

Think the green tint started in the mid 70's with the GT's and later clubman.
Triplex sundym in those days, think it was slightly darker than the later green tints.
There was also a pretty rare smoke tint (bronze?) not sure what it came standard on, might have been the '79 mini 1100 specials. Friend of mine fitted the smoke glass to his '69 mk3 850.
