Hi scoop,I have several of them, some have the outlet going left and some right. I'm not sure why though? Do you know Moke Spider?
I don’t know moke personally, but I’ve had a few good yarns on here with him and have bought parts from him before.
Really nice and knowledgeable guy.
Are you wanting to sell a cover?

I didn't mean if you knew Moke Spider, I was asking Moke if he knew why some went left and some went right!!! I have observed a lot of his knowledge on here and wanted to pick his brain about that.Hi scoop,I have several of them, some have the outlet going left and some right. I'm not sure why though? Happy New Year everyone !!
Scoop, now you mention it, there are Right and Left pointing types.
Off hand, I'm not sure why, not a Rocker Cover I use much at all so never looked much in to their precise origins.
I seem to recall they were only fitted to the small bore engines.
If I recall, the early ones, as fitted to the Mini and Morris 1100 were used with a 1-1/4" SU and had an adaptor between the Air Filter Elbow and the Carb that they plumbed in to. I ** think ** they pointed off to the LH Side of the Car (Water Pump end of the Engine).
Later, as they went to a CCV System, the Adaptor was dropped and it was plumbed in to the CCV Port on the Carb Body (I think !).

I should one day take a photo of all the different covers we had, I probably have 6 or 8 different ones!!!

There were indeed a few covers.
To make a bit of a start on your excellent suggestion Scoop, I've come up with the following, but need to confirm some of this;-
I could only find references to 4 different unique Aust Rocker Covers, but I feel there may well have been more, Scoop, as you've mentioned you've got 6 or 8 different ones;-
The earliest was fitted to the 850. This appears to be a plain cover with no breather at all, P/N AYA185 These were also fitted to the 998 engines for a while
The Oil Separator, fitted to the Cover and pointing off to the LH (Radiator) side was available as a separate item, P/N AYA112 and could be fitted to the AYA185 Rocker Cover.
As a complete item, the AYA185 Cover, together with the AYA112 Separator was under P/N AYA184.
The Later Rocker Cover, with the Separator that faces off to the RH (Flywheel) end has P/N AYA253.
I stress, don't take this as gospel.
Here's an AYA184 and a AYA253 Cover (sorry for their appearance!)
This is the adaptor that was fitted to the 1-1/4" HS2 Carb, between it and the Air filter Gooseneck
P/N AYG120
I also found this snippet of info;-
Be great Scoop if you wanted to add some photos of yours
