I flowbench tested this a couple of weeks ago, showed a decent gain in flow and is designed to fit under a K&N cone filter. Available for the 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" SU.
Different length ram pipes can be used to tune the inlet length and are used to alter the torque spread of the engine. Tuned lengths can have quite a dramatic effect when done correctly.
Phil.
Just to add, the HS6 and HIF44 are both 1.75" but the HS6 has a smaller inlet orifice so the stub stack is different to a HIF44.

I'm running MED's stub stacks and ITG filter setup on my 1380

I'd like to know how they compare with the MED or Swiftune 2 1/2" ram pipes, but with those the filter becomes an issue.I'm running MED's stub stacks and ITG filter setup on my 1380

I can't remember what page on David Vizard's "Tuning the A-series engine" second edition.
He wrote that the inlet manifold length is more important and the longer the better. A short fully radius'd stack worked best, with a longer manifold, compared to a longer stack and shorter manifold.
Obviously manifold length is determined by where the bulkhead/dash is sat in relation to the head.
Hope this is of some use. If you need it I can look out the page numbers in the book for reference.
Intake manifolds Part 3 issue 1 page 147, issue 2 page 150, issue 3 page 156.
if anyone needs the info. ;)
