Hi all
I own a 91 mini city and it has a chrome grill
I am after having a black front grill
Can I just spray my chrome one with plasti dip or would it be better to purchase a new black one ?

I can't see a problem with spraying it, make sure you clean/degrease it first though

how well plasti dip will cope with the weather and stone chips I don't know, I'm not familiar with it

(All Chrome/White will be going black)

 

P.S anyone know where I can get a black winged mini badge?

I used plasti dip a lot on my cars. It's super easy to produce a good finish and it looks good. It doesn't damage the surface below. BUT in my experience, it's a real pain to get off when you want to. Not as easy as they say.

There are no surrounds currently on, i will soon take off the bonnet lip and paint all chrome black and i personally like the black and red look.
