Hi Guys. I know this is always done to death .......
The 16v K series fits but it’s a squeeze - has anyone used the 8v ?? I want to use a rover engine and although I’m not looking for lairy I want reliability and an oem look. Cheers

To be honest its roughly the same amount of work for the 16v version, you'll find it easier to source parts for the 16v engine like tubular manifolds etc. I found the pg 1 gearbox fits better than the r65 box and linkage is easier. Bonus is that if you ever decide to go 1.8 its a straight swap.
