I looked up Stevens company which is now dissolved. The people listed above where the other named directors (claire been the seceraty for awhile), so i was hoping they still spoke to steven and could point you that direction.
The web addresses have expired, i did email them about my sprint in 2015 ish, but no reply.
I have sent facebook messages to them, will let you know if theres a reply. Seem to be active on facebook with posts as recently as a couple of weeks ago.

Worth joining facebook if only for accessing these groups - https://www.facebook...58523484210681/
Also make contact with Jeroen Booij (maximum mini books and site) as he has loads of knowledge and knows where rare cars are, gets history on them etc.

Sorry to hear of Sabre theft, but the grp work, including the bonnet, should not be too daunting. as has already been said , plug making just needs a bit of time and anything that can be used to create what you have in mind. a bit of lateral thinking and a few coats of durabuild {the only bigish expense] FOR THE FINAL SURFACE and you're ready for mould taking.
I have recently modified the rear section of my Nimbus and the cost for plug making and mould was less than £100, lots of elbow grease though, but matched by a great dolop of satisfaction.
good luck Ian
Apologies to OP, I can't help at all, but I would like to see pictures or a build thread for the car pictured here please?
Google "Nimbus Kit Car" and it came up much squarer than this one!

Hi,
I'd say these days the Facebook group would be the way to get in touch with owners.
Set your profile to private and you can delete your account when you're done if you like.
I'm not a fan of Facebook but it's a useful tool.
Cheers

Good luck
