bit of time on the loom today, trying to clean up the engine bay! So loom all hidden in the inner wing and fuse box relocated under the dash.

Fuse box not finished just a trial fit.

Also wiper motor mounted inside

Loving it! a couple questions though
Do the a panel holes help with cooling?
Also what diameter is the swaying tool? If you had a dimensions I could whip one up at work as well! :-)

ive removed the number plate mounts and made a gap.

as for solid mounts are they really that bad??? Ive only added them as im going to use an internal gear linkage and everyone said it needs to be solid

Solid engine mounts with solid subframe mounts will transmit every noise and vibration into the shell of the car. I wouldn’t use solid engine mounts on anything other than an out and out racer.

You don’t want the engine to move with the internal linkage, but I wouldn’t say you want it solid mounted. I would use standard engine mounts and at least 3, if not 4, tiebars with rosejoints at one end and quality bushes at the other.
